It’s vulnerable to share video of yourself doing something poorly. I am, objectively, bad at playing the guitar. But I’ve also been playing for only one month. (21 years and one month if you count how long I’ve had the damn thing, but that’s a different kind of math.) I’ve been playing in earnest for one month and no one is very good at something they've only done for a month, right? I don’t know. Maybe I’ll always be bad, but damn I enjoy it. I love holding a guitar. I love the way fingers look in chord shapes. I love the feel of all that vibration at my solar plexus. We’ll explore the significance of the instrument another day.
